Have something to share? We’d love to hear from you.
Ivy’s Study has been created as a place for gathering, learning, sharing and curiosity We know that the most interesting programme won’t come from one person or one perspective. We want to work with knowledgeable, passionate and engaging people who have something they would genuinely like to share with others. You might be an experienced speaker or teacher, an academic or researcher, an author, artist or maker, a practitioner within the spiritual or pagan community, or simply someone with a fascinating area of knowledge and the ability to communicate it well. You don’t necessarily need an established following or years of experience hosting events. If you have an idea you think belongs at Ivy’s Study, we encourage you to get in touch.
What are we looking for?
Our programme will be intentionally varied. While Ivy’s Study has strong roots within the pagan, witchcraft and spiritual community, we don’t want the space to be limited to those subjects. We’re interested in ideas that encourage people to learn, question, create, discuss or discover something new. This could include talks, workshops, demonstrations, discussion evenings, practical sessions, creative gatherings, book events, history, folklore, philosophy, nature, spirituality, witchcraft, wellbeing, art, writing, traditional skills and much more.
Host With Ivy’s Study
We hope to build an ongoing programme of events hosted in collaboration with visiting speakers, teachers, practitioners and creatives. Where we work together on an Ivy’s Study event, our aim is to provide more than simply a room. We are developing the space with professional hosting in mind, including presentation screens and equipment to support talks and workshops. We also hope to introduce professional recording equipment, allowing suitable talks, lectures and sessions to be recorded where agreed with the host. This opens up exciting possibilities for sharing knowledge beyond the people physically sitting in the room including recorded sessions and future digital content.
As Ivy’s Study develops, we want to create a venue where hosts feel that their knowledge and work are properly presented, valued and supported.
If you have a talk, workshop or idea that you would like us to consider for the Ivy’s Study programme, please introduce yourself and tell us a little about what you would like to offer.
Prefer to run your event independently?
You don’t have to be part of our programme to use Ivy’s Study.
The Hearth and The Study are also available for private hire, giving independent hosts the opportunity to use the space for their own events, meetings, sessions or gatherings. This may be the better option if you already have your own audience, want to manage your own bookings and payments, or simply need an interesting and welcoming venue in which to host what you do. You bring the idea and your people; we provide the space.
Private hire is available from TBC, with different options depending on the room, length and nature of your booking.
An Invitation to Bring Us Your Ideas
Some of the best events we host may well be ones we haven't thought of yet. Ivy’s Study is intended to grow through the people who use it, the conversations that happen within it and the knowledge that is shared there. So if you've been thinking “I'd love to give a talk about this,” “I wish there was somewhere I could teach this,” or “I'd love to bring people together for this” we want to hear from you.
You don't need to arrive with a perfectly formed event proposal. Start with an idea and a conversation.
Tell us who you are, what you'd love to share and how you imagine using Ivy’s Study.
Gather. Learn. Share.
Pop-Up Shop at Ivy’s Study
Have something you'd love to bring to our community?
Ivy’s Study will also be available for pop-up shops, visiting makers, authors, artists, independent businesses and specialist sellers who would like a temporary physical space to showcase what they do. Whether you're launching something new, testing a physical retail experience, meeting your existing customers in person or simply looking for an interesting space to trade for a day, we'd love to hear from you.
We’re particularly interested in welcoming independent businesses and individuals whose work complements the character of Ivy’s Study and the wider Everchange community but we're also open to ideas we may not have considered.
Pop-ups could include independent makers • artists & illustrators • authors & book sellers • vintage & curiosities • plants & botanical goods • handmade products • spiritual & pagan businesses • creative collections • seasonal shops • specialist independent retailers and more.
Depending on the pop-up, there may also be opportunities to combine your visit with something more interactive perhaps a demonstration, meet-the-maker session, book signing, mini workshop or talk.
Our aim is to offer a welcoming physical space where interesting independent businesses and creators can be discovered, meet people and bring their work to life beyond a screen.
If you have a pop-up idea, even if you're not quite sure how it would work yet, get in touch and tell us about it.
